Program Overview
The Supervised Training & Access Program (STAP) is a community-focused initiative designed to expand access to mental health support while providing high-quality, supervised training experiences for future clinicians.
Through STAP, clients receive services from advanced graduate trainees, who work under close supervision by fully licensed clinicians. All services are delivered within a structured training environment that includes regular supervision, consultation, and clinical oversight to ensure thoughtful, ethical, and safe care.
Who is STAP For?
The program is best suited for individuals seeking short-term support for low-acuity or stable concerns.
The STAP program provides psychotherapy services only.
This program does not include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, or prescribing services.

Program Structure
  • Time-Limited: Up to eight (8) goal-focused sessions emphasizing assessment, skill-building, and psychoeducation.
  • Voluntary Participation: Clients may receive referrals for continued care after the program or transition to other providers at any time.
Administrative Fee Only
$20 per appointment
This administrative program fee supports scheduling, documentation, electronic health record access, and supervision coordination. This fee is not insurance-billable.

Limited Enrollment & Screening
Due to limited intern availability and supervision capacity, enrollment in STAP is limited, and participation is not guaranteed.
